Kennys Sleep Over

On Saturday night I had a sleep over with Syrenna & Bob Williams. It was my first night in an Eyre so I was looking forward to it.

We had tea at the Cudlee Creek Restaurant and I must say the leaves were delicious! I even had a ride on a rocking horse.

We went back and checked out our drive for tomorrow, visited some friends, then had a lookout the skylight. It was a great view, a lot like my home in the gumtrees. Then it was time for bed and I had a visit from Sam the cockatiel, who lives with Syrenna & Bob. He travels with them everywhere in his green cage and even has his own seatbelt so his home doesn't fall of the seat. When they are travelling he likes to sit on the drivers shoulder and get a better view of where they are heading.

After Syrenna tucked me in, I slept really well. We got up around 8:30 and all had cereal and yoghurt for breakfast as Syrenna had run out of gum leaves. I had a window seat for the day's drive, it was great. We went to Fairyland Village and it was really good but we forgot to take our cameras. We had a talk with two cockies. One was called Henrietta and she had a red cup which she put on and off her head. I thought she was very clever! As we left they both said Bye Bye.

We arrived at Mt Barker Caravan Park at 1 o'clock, set up and had some lunch. After that I was tired so I had a nap till happy hour when I went back to Judy and Barry.
